Is there a quick way of adding most of my users to a new member group?

It seems that group memberships are contained within the 'Ranks2.txt' file under /cgi-bin/prefs, and I can see how they're expressed (comma separated member numbers - fair enough), but I can't think of a quick way of figuring out which member numbers I need to add in there, without having to go through my /members/list2.txt file to figure out who's who.

There's no admin function I can see to select multiple members to add them to a group. Has anyone written a script to provide this function?

I'm running eblah version 10.2.5 and haven't upgraded because of smtp mail notification issues which were introduced from that version on (Step_N_Wolf, who had the same problem sent me an edited post.pl which fixed that, but I don't want to reintroduce that problem by upgrading).

Members List/Member Groups/Manage Group, that may help input the names of users.
