Ok, here is the Beta 2 release for Eblah Template Editor. Note, you will have to download the Microsoft .NET 3.5 Framework in order to use this program.  I have tested this program on Windows XP, but haven't tried it on any other operating systems. It should work fine as long as you have the .NET 3.5 Framework installed. You will need at least Windows XP to install the .NET 3.5 Framework.  If you are running an older operating system such as Windows 2000 or Windows 98, I can see if it is possible to build the program for the .NET 2.0 Framework.  Just pm me to let me know if you would like that.  Please let me know of any bugs major and minor that you come across.  Thank you very much.

Note: The help file "help.txt" must be copied to the same directory as the program. Otherwise an exception will be caused when the user tries to view the help file from within the program. I forgot to write an exception handler for that. I will write one for the next release.

Looks good.

I would make one suggestion -- make the "Theme"/"Design" be elsewhere and say Wizard.  Maybe when you open the Template Editor it should have like a welcome that says "Do you want to use the wizard and make a theme based off of the default, E-Blah 10.3.3, theme, or use a blank template?"  If "Blank Template" is chosen, then allow them to enter in the Template data and then create the file spaces for each (template.css, etc).  That would make it easier to use, I think.

Maybe try to make an "Import" tool that allows you to select the theme.dat file would be nice too.

Eblah should be E-Blah.

After I ran the wizard thing, I understood the app better, and think it's pretty good.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

Ok, I've added your suggestions to the program. I am going to fix a few little things that I have noticed before I upload it again. Thanks for your suggestions.

Soon, I will be uploading a release that will be compatible with the new E-Blah 10.3.5 template system. I will keep support for legacy 10.2.5, but also add support for the new theme format. I noticed that my last forum theme (10.2.5) was showing up incorrectly in Firefox 3 beta 3. I'm not sure if that's a Firefox issue, or simply a theme issue, or a rendering issue with E-Blah 10.2.5. I recently made a completely new theme based on the default X2 theme for E-Blah 10.3.5 and it looks beautiful. Everything is aligned properly and the forum looks very professional.

Speaking of Firefox 3, the nightly builds are the best.
