How does one use the url tags so that a standard link is created, in which the linked text is visible and not the actual URL unless you hover?

I recognize it as similar to HTML, but there's really no hint of how it is supposed to work when one clicks the button, especially for someone with no HTML experience (e.g., most users). I wonder if there's any chance the automatic formatting could be adjusted to something more closely resembling the way it is supposed to be formatted.

What is it, where is it? 2. Searching this forum for the term, I find it in mentions of eBlah 10.3.3. I am still in 10.2.5 In the past, mine told me when there was a new version. Why is that not happening? Is Advanced Editor part of 10.3.3?
