In a Nutshell SAX, or the Simultaneous Asynchronous eXchange, is a integrated chat and activity client for PHPBB based boards. It tells users in realtime when users leave and return to the board, posts that were replied to and created, as well as function as a chat client. it also supports triggers like !whereis to locate what someone is looking at on the board and !laston to find out when someone was last logged in.

Could this functionality be converted to a perl script and added as a portal modification to E-Blah?
