I've sucessfully installed eblah on the server (as far as I know). When i go to the link for the messageboard http://www.prosportswives.com/cgi-bin/forum/blah.pl  It appears that it is working but none of the images, theme or any of the assets seem to load. My guess is that is must have something to do with the settings.pl file but I'm not sure. Thought I'd run it by and see if anone has ideas. Heres is a copy of my settings.pl file as well. Oh and I am not able to access the settings.pl file by typing in http://www.prosportswives.com/cgi-bin/forum/settings.pl

Did you get the red warning box when it was being setup?

You also have to change permissions like it says in the install documentation.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

When I initially set it up I did get the warning box when it was setup. So I gave the list of files that needed to have permissions changed for the web host to change. I finally got an email from them saying that the files/folders were changed. I went thru and finished setting up the messageboard. When I went to launch it I got this

http://www.prosportswives.com/cgi-bin/forum/blah.pl

Unfortunatly the site is hosted on a Windows server and not Unix where I can go in and change permissions remotely myself.
it appears to be there just not referencing the template or other elements in the blahdocs. So do you think it is still something to do with permissions being set?

Thanks

I see that you also will do installs for $25? If I can't figure it out is that a possibility? And if so will you let me know what I was doing wrong. Thanks

Did your hosting provider give you a link to a control panel to change permissions?  If they did not, you must contact them after you've uploaded it and ask them to change all the permissions per the Windows permission configuration.

I gave them the info for setting the permissions. My assumption is that they did as it looks like the forum is up and running. I just don't have no template or buttons etc. Would not having a permission set casue this problem?

If the permissions were correctly set, that temp Settings.pl would look much more filled out.  This is why you're having problems.
