I'm switching from IIS to Apache, could I have problems with the line break differences?

I am. Only with Members dir, though. When I register a new member it adds a strange char (it only shows up as ? in PuTTY, but it's not) before .[ext].

I need to rebuild all the members, but I can't login as an admin, how could I do this?
