Fails to install, Host says this is the error:

The script is failing with the following error:

[Thu Aug 23 17:47:31 2007] [error] [client 69.243.155.108] Premature end of script headers: /home/accountnamewashere/public_html/cgi-bin/forum/Setup.pl


Any ideas please?

Check your error logs. My host, NFSN, for example, only shows this for errors.

Also, if you have SSH, login there and type:

cd /home/accountnamewashere/public_html/cgi-bin/forum/
perl Setup.pl


See if that gives any more information. If you get a bunch of HTML, it's probably CHMOD or something with the path to PERL.

Path to perl is fine, chmod is fine, just fails to do anything else.

Looks like I wont be using this then.

All other perl scripts run fine so has to be eblah issue.

Perhaps reference to the ip 69.243.155.108 is a clue as that's in the USA and I'm not.

Is the install trying to look something up on the eblah server perhaps and failing?

As mentioned previously all files were correctly ftp'd and all chmod setting correct. Have also tried opening up all chmod to 777 but still not working.

Have also checked, all files show me as owner, well same as all other files already on server so i assume that's ok.
