First, if you're looking for a web-calendar program, I recommend staying away from Total Calendar for the time being.  It's getting hacked like mad.

One of the sites I run is a site for my mother's family.  The main feature of that site is a calendar that family members can log onto and add events to.  It's a good way to keep in touch.  Having forums there would be overkill and scare the less tech-savy family members, so I'm trying to keep it just a calendar.  I've been using Total Calendar, but in the last couple weeks, it's been hacked 3 times, requiring reinstallation and clearing the database.

Is there a solid, reliable, secure calendar program that anyone here knows of that I could switch to?  I paid $35 for Total Calendar, so it's a real irritation to have to switch, but I need something that's less problems.  Their support has been useless through this whole thing at this point as well.  I'd love recommendations.

I'm betting Justin could make a very slick stand-alone calendar program if he were to try, but I also understand that it's probably more than enough work to maintain one piece of software...

I've removed the forum part for people before, but it's not something I "recommend".  The people I did that for weren't having other users post to it.

You could just make a forum that has one board that redirects to the calendar, and then remove the links to the profile and all.  I'm not really sure.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.
Technical support is always free.
