Great mod Martin, just what I've been looking for - however, is there anyway to get it to ignore images in signatures as its adjusting them too and they are ending up a bit small - they dont stretch the screen so dont need changing.
cheers
EDIT: Just found a bug as well (I think!) in Opera and IE once the image has loaded and then reduced the webpage then reduces in size to fit on the screen (if it was stretched) in Firefox, even when the image resizes the page stays stretched out. (firefox 2.0.0.4) |

I'll look into it and delete the mod in the mean time. |

hi, im having trouble with this too. I get the following error, it says code not found in source.
Source Code:
$tempinput =~ s~\[img\](http|ftp|mms|https)://(.[^\s\n<>]+?)\[/img\]~<img src="$1://$2" alt="" />~gsi; $tempinput =~ s~\[img width=([1-9][^\s]*?) height=([1-9][^\s]*?)\](http|ftp|mms|https)://(.[^\s\n<>]+?)\[/img\]~<img src="$3://$4" width="$1" height="$2" alt="" />~gsi; $tempinput =~ s~\[img width=([1-9][^\s]*?) height=([1-9][^\s]*?) align=(right|left)\](http|ftp|mms|https)://(.[^\s\n<>]+?)\[/img\]~<img src="$4://$5" width="$1" height="$2" class="$3img" alt="" />~gsi; $tempinput =~ s~\[img align=(right|left)\](http|ftp|mms|https)://(.[^\s\n<>]+?)\[/img\]~<img src="$2://$3" class="$1img" alt="" />~gsi;
Replace:
$tempinput =~ s~\[img\](http|ftp|mms|https)://(.[^\s\n<>]+?)\[/img\]~<img class="imgcode" src="$1://$2" alt="" />~gsi; $tempinput =~ s~\[img width=([1-9][^\s]*?) height=([1-9][^\s]*?)\](http|ftp|mms|https)://(.[^\s\n<>]+?)\[/img\]~<img class"imgcode" src="$3://$4" width="$1" height="$2" alt="" />~gsi; $tempinput =~ s~\[img width=([1-9][^\s]*?) height=([1-9][^\s]*?) align=(right|left)\](http|ftp|mms|https)://(.[^\s\n<>]+?)\[/img\]~<img class"imgcode" src="$4://$5" width="$1" height="$2" class="$3img" alt="" />~gsi; $tempinput =~ s~\[img align=(right|left)\](http|ftp|mms|https)://(.[^\s\n<>]+?)\[/img\]~<img class="imgcode" src="$2://$3" alt="" />~gsi;
I uploaded the js file in binary and the v2m file in ascii but its saying code not found and "will not install properly"?
I've used the latest nightly no other problems.
Thanks. |

You don't need this mod anymore, Justin added it as part of the release code. Edit common.js and change the 750 in the following line to your desired resize.

Thanks for your reply, I've search the Common.js file with eyes and with a search and the above line of code isn't there. I must have an old common.js. ive attached it, maybe you could have a look?
what is this going to do? resize all images on a certain percentage or all to a particular pixel size? I'm not sure I understand?
Anyway Thanks for helping me.
Ps. will this new thing Justin has done be included in a new nightly?

It usually is with the later versions but it is always better to run the Setup.pl.
If doing a full upgrade:
1. Uninstall all mods or delete all .installed files in the Mods folder 2. Upload all .js files to /blahdocs 3. Upload the Code folder, Languages folder, Blah.pl to your forum folder 4. Run Setup.pl
If you are uploading from the nightly to incorporate all bug fixes then just carry out 1 to 3 above.
In both cases, reinstall any mods.
NB: Some mods may need to be changed to install correctly after upgrading.

ok ive updated the file and found this code // Image Resize; from Martin's Mod for E-Blah function resizeImg() { var _resizeWidth = 300; var ResizeMsg = 'Click to view original size ...'; var _resizeClass = 'imgcode'; var imgArray = document.getElementsByTagName('img'); for(var i = 0; i < imgArray.length; i++) { var imgObj = imgArray[i]; if(imgObj.className == _resizeClass && imgObj.width > _resizeWidth) { imgObj.style.width = _resizeWidth + 'px'; imgObj.onclick = ImagecodeWinOpen; imgObj.title = ResizeMsg; imgObj.style.cursor = 'pointer'; } } } as you can see i changed 750 to 300 and uploaded the changes, its not scalliing down images though? they use the [img] [/img] tag but they are still the original size? for example http://www.i-conica.co.uk/forum/Blah.pl?m-1201969790/s-0/PS i am right in thinking i didnt need to install the mod anymore? cos its not installed now.. |

All working now. I think it is a bit slow because the images are linked to the Belkin website. You would be better of saving them from the Belkin site to your own site and relinking them. |

I will do, good idea, I'll do that for large Hi-Res images in future. Won't bother with the Belkin ones though because i've not really noticed them being slow? maybe just maintenance of Belkin's website when you were there? But Again Thank you for all your hard work, I really appreciate that! i-CONICA |
