I get the message

Setup has determined that you must manually edit the paths to Settings.pl or other core files. If you need help, contact E-Blah technical support.

The following may help you figure out what your paths are:
Document Root:
Script name: C:\server\www\cgi-bin\forum\setup.pl
File(s) Not Loaded: ./Settings.pl
Reason for failure:

ANY IDEAS?

Change Setup.pl and Blah.pl references to Settings.pl to "C:/server/www/cgi-bin/forum/Settings.pl"

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

changed setup.pl to:

InstallConfig() if(!SetupLoad('C:\server\www\cgi-bin\forum\Settings.pl',1) || !SetupLoad("$code/QuickCore.pl",1));

which is the only location Settings.pl was mentioned.  Tried same with Blah.pl

Right,

got most issues sorted out.  Forum is at http://213.120.121.64/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl but I have one confusing issue I cannot resolve.

I have Admin as user and another account I created myself.  I see both in List2.txt.  However, it does not allow either user to log on!  Just goes back to log on screen.  Have cleared cache and tried again - but same result.

Also, where would I manually install sendmail?

More than likely you need to change your security settings for the Members folder.  Is it creating a .dat file in there?

If you open them, are they empty?  Also, are you using sessions or cookies?
