Hi Guys,

I'll freely admit I'm an internet idiot, so I can't figure out where it's going wrong on this one.  I've got the red box thing, and its contents are as follows:

#  Avatars Currently set to: /var/www/html/blahdocs/Avatars
# uploads Currently set to: /var/www/html/blahdocs/uploads
# template Currently set to: /var/www/html/blahdocs/template
The following may help you figure out what your paths are:
Document Root: /var/www/html
Script name: Setup.pl
Please note that not all server report the above information correctly.

I pretty much followed everything that I could in the install thing, so am a bit foxed by this.

Any help gratefully received.  Thanks,

ant

You will need the full path to your html directory, you should be able to get this from either your host (support) or by the control panel they should supply.  After you get this, let us know and I'll get back to you on where to place it.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

Change $blahdocs2 in Settings.pl (right under $root) to "/var/www/hosts/winglo.net/public_html/winglo.net/blahdocs".

I have done as you told me and now I am up and running!

Very much thanks for the support and help on this script Justin.
I was afraid to change the $ENV{'DOCUMENT_ROOT'} part of the script to an absolute path, but I see now that it can be done.

Just want to thank you because this is a really great forum with a ton of cool options, in addition you have done some pretty stand up work in the eye-appeal department and I have told a lot of my friends and family about this forum. I can see you have done a lot of hard work into this and so, we appreciate it. It is a really good one.

Keep up the good work man!!

I am getting the same thing.  But my Settings.pl seems to be an empty file.  Any reason why this should be?  Perhaps I need to download again?

installing version 1.41 on http://www.altspace.info
