I uploaded and installed the mod, but I am not sure it installed correctly since the uninstall option never appears (see screenshot).  Clicking install again just reports it installed correctly, but I see no additional configuration options in the Admin Center.  Any ideas?

Thanks!

Upload the mod in ASCII, mods won't work if set to AUTO

OK, actually I control my own server (Linux) so I do not have to ftp the files.  I discovered that by copy-pasting the mod code into the Upload New Mod box the mod code will do a test install properly.  I am curious as to why the mod files will not work as-is.  In other words, what would be the equivalent of ensuring the mod files are in ASCII format when I download them and place them in the Mod directory?  When I open a mod file in nano it visually looks correct.

Thanks!

You've got to CHMOD the directories 777.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

OK, the test install runs and produces a result, including several Code not found in source messages (see screenshot).  However, if I manually examine the source .pl file I do see the referenced code.  Seems to happen only where the source is multi-line and has hard line breaks.  Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi Justin.  There is no ftp uploading to be done since it's my own webserver.  I just download the mod .zip files directly on the webserver and unzip their contents locally, then copy them to the /Mod/ directory.

Ah-ha!!!  Running  dos2unix on auto_pm_popup.v2m alone did not resolve the issue, but on a hunch I ran dos2unix on Load.pl as well.  Now it works as expected!!!  Now the question is should I run dos2unix on all my .pl files?  Could there be latent or future issues because of CRLF in my .pl files or other eBlah files?  Please reply.

Thank you!

You should run it on all .pl files, it's the equivalent of uploading them in ASCII.
