Hi Im new and have just put eblah on my site.
I have been trying to find an idiots guide to setting up the forum particularly on upgrading members to higher member groups. why is it that everyone on my forum starts as a Baby member and how do I promote them to another group? Ive hunted through this forum for an answer and cant seem to get one.

Thank you for your reply but the only group that comes up on a newly installed site is the administrator and I have found out why. The default user groups are all post click except administrator  so by removing the set number of clicks in user group settings this makes them come onto the list and allows me to assign users to these groups.
I hope you follow?
Thanks again

Yes, this is how it's supposed to work.

The post groups means that users aren't assigned to them UNTIL they've reached that number of posts.
