Got a couple of probs, I managed to create a category and three sub boards but when I try to access any of the sub boards the system cans out

"Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@web.mydns.net.nz and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log."

Kind of like the permissions are not set quite right

Whats weird is that I can create members, set their permissions, send private internal email between members, no probs,

I'm not convinced that when I change any setting on the forums settings and press save, although it reports at the top of the admin page 'Command Completed Successfully' when i go back in to check any options I have ticked remain unchecked

So 90% there but the last 10% is proving troublesome.

Settings.pl is not CHMODed correctly.  CHMOD it 666, then go to Admin/Settings.  Then save, and it should work.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

Weird I thought I had this set to 755, does the setup or blah.pl change chmod settings as you use it?

After I hit save as you suggested the system errored and effectivly logged me as as admin but still reported i was online as admin and said i was guest.

"User: Guest Time of Error: May 5, 2007, 7:42am Blah.pl?v-admin/r-3/

Only administrators are allowed to access this section. "

I then logged in again as admin and could get into each of the three forums but now when I post to a forum it reports this error (ex fatal error log)

1 User: Administrator Time of Error: May 5, 2007, 7:44am Blah.pl?v-post/b-6/m-/post-1/

Cannot open the message data file: 1178307889.txt
