Hi, i just wondered if someone could help me please, i've figured out how to upload in binary and ascii BUT i'm trying to install the PM sound alerts, i've followed the instructions and i can't seem to find a folder in my public_html called "blahdocs"

Does your forum work correctly? If so, you should have a 'blahdocs' directory under 'public_html'. This is also the same directory where your cgi-bin is located.
What version are you using? What are you using to FTP?

put it in http://www.yoursite.co.uk/tmp/template/shades_of_red/

dont forget to edit the path in admin/        Directories and Web Addresses
