Ok, I'm helping pcmantinker over at IGA, and I need to know some stuff about the API.

a) Does it support showing how many new private messages a user has?  How?
b) Does it support showing how many unread posts a user has or something similar? How?

Thanks,
Tyler

A.) Yes, pmcnt or something like that should show it.  Look for PM in the XML feed returned.  New members, or users never receiving a PM, will have nothing (the field won't be there).  There's pm count and pm new count there.

B.) Nope.  That's done on the spot when you go to search.  lol

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.
