I downloaded E-Blah SQL Beta 2, and attempted to install it on Windows Server 2003 with IIS6.
At install.pl, I'm informed that my path is *incorrect* and prompted to fix it by modifying settings.lp.

Unfortunately, settings.pl is a zero-byte file in my download.
Can anyone provide me with a template to settings.pl?

Also, will this work:
I want to access eblah by going to http://mysite/forum/
So I put the eblah "forum" directory as /inetpub/wwwroot/forum/

I then copied blahdocs to *inside* this dir, so now it's http://mysite/forum/blahdocs/
Install.pl can be accessed and runs just fine from http://mysite/forum/install.pl

It just gives me the invalid directory stuff, but I'll need a template for settings.pl to fix that.

Can anyone link me to the documentation or a copy of a working settings.pl?
(btw, blahdocs.com is down)

I still haven't resolved the settings.pl file, but the second part is also giving me trouble with the original eBlah setup as well:

On IIS, there is no need for a cgi-bin folder.
I have plenty of Perl apps running just fine the same way PHP/Python would: wherever you put them.

I tried copying the .pl files over to inetpub/forum/ and blahdocs to /inetpub/forum/blahdocs/ and configuring settings.pl to use the new directory, but it refuses to work.
I don't want to use mod_rewrite, I just want to have blahdocs as a subdirectory of forum, and I want forum *not* in cgi-bin..... I can't get that to work though, before or after an install.

Part 2 fixed.

For anyone interested: in order to move it from
/cgi-bin/forum/ to /forum/
and
/blahdocs/ to /forum/blahdocs/

You have to first install it fully with /cgi-bin/forum/ and /blahdocs/ respectively, then *manually* change settings.pl
Replace all instances of /cgi-bin/forum with /forum
Replace all instances of /blahdocs with /forum/blahdocs
Save and exit.

Go back to Blah.pl and change settings.pl to the new path (if you're on IIS, else this step is unnecessary)

Access your forum

Is settings.php for eBlah SQL the same as eBlah? I'd assume no, since you'd have to put the MySQL info somewhere..... Any idea why it's a blank file?

Settings.pl Pre-Setup is now contained in the Install.pl file.  After the setup has run, the Settings.pl is a little different.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

OK, so I modify the location variables in install.pl instead?
