I am in the process of using E-Blah on my OpenBSD -current box.  I will run the stock Apache chrooted (is there any other way?, but I have a few questions that don't appear to be covered...

1.  I see in the instructions that some directories are to be created within cgi-bin.  Is this cgi-bin to reside inside my ServerRoot (/var/www/htdocs/cgi-bin), or can I use the cgi-bin supplied in /var/www/cgi-bin?  I realize it matters, as many of the scripts will fail.

2.  E-Blah uses Perl (and many thanks for that! None of this PHP BS).  I realize that I may have to chroot Perl inside /var/www.  Can I get around this by installing and using mod_perl in Apache?  Has this been tried before and failed, or is it a matter of needing the full Perl interpreter...?

I will read up on how to chroot Perl correctly...  I have the site bookmarked...

Many thanks for the answers.  I used the demo, and I was very pleased with the results...

E-Blah does not use mod_perl, unfortunately.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.
