can anyone help me, How do I upload in ASCII or Binary mode??

If you download SmartFTP as your transfer program, then above the main window you will notice 3 menu buttons (icons) in a row that say ASCII, 010101, AUTO. When you are doing your transfer you simply click on the appropriate button to do the appropriate transfer type. I am pretty sure other FTP programs have similar options in their pull down menus, or icons. When you want to uplaod the something in ASCII you simply click on the icon that says ASCII, then selct your files and upload them. When you want to upload something in Binary you click on the 010101 (or Binary) icon, then select your files and upload them. Hope this is correct and helpful.
