Not long set up E-Blah so still a bit of a novice. I am getting the upgrade message when I log into my admin, and the link takes you to the download file which looks like a complete install. I checked the docs and cant find an upgrade only install guide. an someone offer a bit of help please?

Unzip the 10.2 file on your pc.
Access your site via ftp and from the forum folder upload the Code and Languages Folders and Blah.pl ONLY
Upload the complete blahdocs folder.

That should be all you need to do.  If you have modified your current theme you will need to add a few extra css classes to template.css, you will have to compare your current with the X theme css. Also upload admintemplate.css to your theme folder.
