Just wondering...  I am upgrading my boards and when I went in to set permissions the directions for a few of the directories say list folder contents. That is not an option in my permissions menu.   What should I set this to?

Just right click and go to Properties, and then change the CHMOD.  That should be about all you have to do.  I recommend SmartFTP for the FTP client though.

Hey Justin,

Thanks for the replies.

I know how to change the CHMOD but what I really need is this,  your recomendations in the instructions for example say to set the CHMOD for /cgi-bin/forum to:  Read & Execute | List Folder Contents | Read.

List Folder contents isn't and option,  the only options I have are Read,  Write,  and execute for the Owner | Group | Public catagories.
I can also change the settings through my site host but they only give me the same options.  So, I was wondering what you recomend to use  instead of "List Folder Contents" for the Group Catagory.

Thanks for your help,  I just want to make sure I have the settings right before I try to get this thing rolling.
