The board and category setup is very different. Here are some screenshots.

Note that the old board modifier is still there, but "parent" and "order" has been added to it. Also, it should be possible to put categories anywhere in the list, provided your order is right (for the board index view).

I like the colors. Very eye pleasing. You should make a full theme with those colors when you are free.

Day three: I've got many of the moderator functions (lock, sticky, delete thread, delete post) complete.

Good news is the rest of them shouldn't be too difficult.
