We have a trusted members area on our forum and only 3 groups of members can see it. Problem is I have just upgraded someone to a new group called team admin and now they cannot see  this trusted members board. If I change her to another group she can see it. I also put her as moderator to see if that would work but doesn't.

I changed my own status from Admin to team admin and I had the same problem.

Any advise please?

You've got to allow that group to see that board by going to Admin/Boards and Categories.

I did try that Justin but it just doesn't seem to work.

Everything is ticked for team admin, full members and admin but only full members and admin can see the private board. I tested it by putting the member from team admin to full member and she could then see it, moved her back to team admin and it was gone again. I even tested it on myself and as team admin I could not see the board.

I will delete the team admin group and reset it up and see if that works.

When you create the group tick the box: Show as part of the team?

And set the Member Group Level: to 5 or six and see if that helps.

Changed a few things around and got it working but not easy. The board moderator group could see the private board so I changed the name of that group to team admin and it was gone again. So I deleted them and started again and still no good until I changed board moderator again to team admin and this time it worked.

Just wanted to let you know in case anyone else has had any problems or runs into similar problems. Fixed it now but why it happened I have no idea!
