I have some problems to transfer (and upgrade from 9.6 to 10.2) the forum (with new domin) on other server.

I have tried this sequence without success
1 - I install in the new server the version 9.6
2 - I transfer the data backup
3 - upgrade to 10.2

Problems:
it doesn't recognize the administrator
the icons don't be loaded (Home, Calendar, Admin, Search, login, etc.)

You have some suggestions ?
Thanks

If you are using an old or modified theme it will not work correctly in 10.2 as there are lots of extra css classes, one is for the menubar.

I have installed with success the version 10.1.5
An only problem with the accented letters (à, è, etc.) "蠭 "
I use X Default Theme (also for 10.2)

This will be down to the character set referenced in template.html

Code
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

I see on your 9.6 site you have no reference to a character set at all.

Usernames are converted to this new format, admin.dat becomes 1.dat but you still login with admin.

Look in your Settings.pl and change $ensids = 2; to $ensids = 0

Martin,
excuse me. I have been sick and I have not answered you.
I have already moved the forum to the version 9.6.  I will perform subsequently the updating to the version 10
An only strangeness.
I use mode_rewrite and in the email of communication "New member" the address is wrong:
http://www.forum-restauro.org/Blah.pl?v=admin,a=validate
to the place of:
http://www.forum-restauro.org/forum/v=admin,a=validate
In the communications of "New thread" or "New reply everything is OK (http://www.forum-restauro.org/forum/m-1172710888/)

Go to Admin/Settings and change your forum directory.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.
