Tried to upgrade from 10.1.5 to 10.2. Encountered some issues so decided to re install from scratch and then pick up board from my back up. Now that I have installed 10.2 I can see the forum, it appears to work but there is no theme!

Thanks in anticipation!

Delete the .htaccess file in your /blahdocs directory.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

That all worked thanks. However when I reloaded the folders from my back up I am now getting an error message as follows:

Template not found!

Error
The copyright of this software has been removed! Before you can continue to use this software, add <blah v="$copyright"> to your template.
Contact System Administrator

can you tell me what I have done wrong?

Umm, go to Blah.pl?v-admin and search for new themes.  Also, updating to 10.2 would be good as it gets rid of that copyright thing.

Edit 1: I thought it did, anyway ... hmm

Edit 2: Yeah, make sure that you've uploaded all the new code.  It's supposed to add the copyright if you remove it automagically.

Mmmm!

Some progress. I sorted the copyright problem by re loading the code directory (Taking out line 11 did not work - there was nothing actually in line 11!)

Now I am back to the forum working, but no template and no buttons at the top so can't get into Admin either!

Any suggestions received or I will beaver away and continue to learn later!

Many thanks

Same problema  I can't seem to have a template, though it is uploaded where it should be. Any comments?
http://www.ecobebe.com.mx/foros/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl?
Another question: how can I install it in a subdomain, that is, how can I make user just type http://www.foros.ecobebe.com.mx and reach the forum?

when you setup the sub-domain in your dns you can just have it point right to the place where the forum is already.  or if you want to use something like "http://www.mysite.com/forum" you can put a redirect script in the forum folder.  i beleive justin did mention changing blah.pl to index.pl in future versions though so that will be much smoother.

ok, but
Do I need to upload cgi-bin and Blahdocs inside the subdomain folder?
I'm confused to upload like this:

/public_html/cgi-bin/
/public_html/forum/blahdocs/

or:

/public_html/forum/cgi-bin/
/public_html/forum/blahdocs/

I want to have http://www.forum.mydomain.com

It would probably be good, unless you want to change the paths to the blahdocs URL in Admin/Settings.
