My forum is getting bigger and its hard to keep track of topics on similar subjects.

What about having some tag words to describe the topic; tags could be custom but mods or admin, and assigned by mods, admin or anyone. When you click a tag it would show a list of all topics with that tag. There could be 2 or 3 tags per topic.

Eg
There's a large get together in Blackpool soon (regarding my websites genre) and it would be nice to click a Blackpool tag and get all of the posts relating to that weekend event, as they span accross many topics, categories, boards.
