I may be a good idea security wise to have an option to disable an RSS feed on a board by board basis.

For example, my site has a hidden board that only select users can access, however I noticed that the RSS button is still available for that board, and that someone could technically copy and paste the RSS feed somewhere else, or insert the board ID into an already formatted RSS URL. Even if they do not have access. This allows them to see the first post of each message.

Simply put, a toggle button in the "edit board settings" screen which says "Allow RSS Feeds" would be sufficient. this option when unchecked would not generate an RSS feed for the board.

It shouldn't allow them to see it.  Have you tried it as a non-valid user?  The permissions should work on RSS pages too.

ok my bad. My Browser was caching the feeds. I cleared the cache and it's denying them when i'm logged out now.
