i have just changed to a default christmas theme, and the background for the shoutbox is now grey.  not the same bg color as the forum.  this only occurs in the xmas theme, all the other themes display the bg properly in the shoutbox.  i'm sure it's something in the xmas theme, but i can't figure it out.  can someone help?

There are 2 background-color statements in template.css

background-color: #5B5C68;
background-color: #F1F1F1;

Get rid of background-color: #5B5C68;

and set the other to #FFFFFF;

here's something else for you...i have recently lost the frame around the shoutbox...not that big a deal, kinda looks cool anyway.  the problem i am having now is this...when i post to the shoutbox, the name that appears is not mine.  i am logged in as 'me' but the name that appears (only in the shoutbox) is 'someone else'.

this may be of some significance:  my user number is 1, and the user number of the name being displayed in my name place is user 10.

i tried re-uploading all the upgrade files, (themes, languages, images, buttons, and all code) and deleted/re-installed the phpshout files and the mod script.

i have attached screenshot and you can see the frame not there, as well as logged in as 'derrick' but the shoutbox displayed 'spiritwalker'

update: it doesn't seem to matter who i am logged in as, it always displays the same user in the shoutbox.

The shoutbox does use the same css as the main forum so will also use your transparency statements

I have not tested the shoutbox with 10.2 nightly, I am waiting for the official release.  This is also the same for the chat.
