Was running blah 10.0 and decided to upgrade to 10.1.5 and well lets say things did not go to well. After doing everyting stated in your documentation setting permissions and uploading, I get a internal server error when trying to go to Setup.pl. I tried going to Blah.pl and it does come up but things are not looking right. Can log in to accounts and get to admin center but if i click on any of the boards i get an internal server error. Can get to the members center though. Seems that there are no times or dates anywhere. I am at a lose and pulling my hair out. Anyhelp is appriciated. I have made sure i have done everything in the documentation and have checked and rechecked that. Was looking at getting a lifetime upgraded thing, and well guess i should have done that. Any chance on getting it now lol. The address of my forum is http://www.barrelracingruns.com/forum/cgi-bin/Blah.plI have taken the link off my website so there should be any users on there unless they bookmarked directly. I am on msn messenger or yahoo messenger or pm me if you need any login information |

Now it is working. You need to add this to your admintemplate.css and template.css:

lol. I didn't see it until I copied it into notepad. You put "forum" in front of "cgi-bin" in the link above |

Both files have code already with in. Also have noticed that if i click on recent messages, messages come up but if i click on any of the boards (example General Discusiion) i get internal server error. It seems anything to do with times dates or statistics has vanished as well and i have to go back in and redo all of my settings.
Yeah whoops on the spelling, knew i should have copied and pasted the first time. |

ok i am not sure what i did or if you got on to my ftp and fixed it but seems to be working now, can get to the message boards and seem to not pick up a internal server error. I still can't get any of the icons to show up in the admin center and it seems like all messages are unread now. i do have a back up of my settings since it seems like i have lost all of my settings, is there a way to fix this so that all the members don't see all new messages? Thanks for all help.
if you need me to pm an admin login to the disscusion board let me know. |

Let me guess, did you accidently upload Settings.pl from the main install package? That's usually what happens. When you go to Admin/Settings/Save, it fixes it. I probably should change the default Settings.pl to like Settings_Default.pl so users can't do this when they upgrade ... . |

Yeah seems to be up and running again. Two last things. I have tons of read x's all over the place, both with in admin center and outside, do i just need to upload all images again? And all images to admincenter folder with in images folder. I have compared the eblah pack i download to what is on my server and it seems all folders match or do i just need to have all the images in each folder.
Second, is there any way to some how bring back what messages users have read so there aren't 300 new messages for each user. Do have a backup of my settings on my server but is this where these settings reside or is there another way to bring this back?
Thank You for all your help, i was pulling my hair out. |

i have 7 forums that i was updating. and of course i uploaded the settings file to the first one. took me a few minutes to realize what i had done. another good reason to always have a current backup around |

I get this but in IE only, when I open up your site in Firefox it is perfect. *** UPDATE *** I just done a test and installed a Version 10 board from scratch and it has exactly the same problem. Open it up in IE and some of the images are not downloaded, right click the image and choose Show image and it appears Open it up in Firefox and no problems. I would say you have some sort of server side issue here. |
