Hi all,
Before I go ahead and translate every single language file, is it possible to test it after translating the languagename.lng file only, or do I have to translate all *.lng files in order for the forum to work porperly?

Your fast reply is greatly appreciated.

I have translated the LanguageName.lng and Admin1.lng, followed same structure as the English language, but i get "internal error 500" when i change the language using the Forum Settings, am I missing anything here, or is it server side error?

Uncomment the use comment in Blah.pl:

use CGI::Carp fatalsToBrowser;

See what error is returned.

Forgot to mention, is that when i use the view option in my ie and change the encoding from (Unicode UTF-8 ) to Arabic (windows), the text appears properly. Needless to say, I don't have to do that in any other Arabic enabled forum. Any Idea how to fix that?

In template.html, try changing:

Code
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" />

To:

Code
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-6-i">
<meta http-equiv="content-language" content="ar">

Thanks for your reply, I had to change the meta tags in all files, and rearrange the code *.pl files in the Code directory in order display the text from right to left.
The thing left is to enable users to register and choose Unicode based screen name, and if possible moving the control panel frame to the right side of the screen,any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Justin, I'll try that.
One more thing I should mention, I ran into the error 500 Premature end of headers, and I went through the forum searching for a fix, I tried everything didn't work, at the end one of my co-workers pointed my attention to the size of the Setup.pl file, there was a slight difference between the original one and the one I uploaded, the one i uploaded was 59 KB and the original one is 55.8 KB, we found out that some of the ftp clients add to the header of the file and changing the size which caused an error i was trying to fix for four days. So I think you should mention that somewhere in your help/support section for the error 500 Premature end of headers.

I'll get back to ya once I am done from this registration thinggy.
