When I try to view the Extensive statistics, the page comes up no problem, but the graph comes up to a red X

I've tried both changing the stats.pl and installing the GD::Graph module as suggested in this thread, but I'm still getting the red X. When I reference the image directly I get a 500 error. The server error logs say "Premature end of script headers" in blah.pl

I've double checked the permissions in the GD folder for graph.pm as well as the graph folder and it's files, and I've also made sure that they were transmitted in ascii mode, and I still get the 500 error. the SecurutyImage.pm that is installed for captcha is working correctly, so the GD permissions should be ok.

So far the board is performing great, and this isn't a critical problem, but I would like to make the stats available for my forum users. any suggestions on a fix, or could I easily hide the image altogether?

In Blah.pl uncomment use CGI::Carp fatalsToBrowser;

See what the exact error is.  It's most likely that GD isn't installed.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

If you want me to take a look just pm me your ftp details. It looks like either a permissions problem or a corrupt file.
If the Security image is working OK then I would say that the GD module is installed on the server.

uncommented FatalsToBrowser. Still getting the same thing: Red X. Internal Server error when you copy paste image URL, same message in server error log. It doesn't seem to be giving any other detailed messages.

Is there a particular version of graph that works better with e-mule then not? right now it's using 1.4308. I've also tried 1.43 with not much success either.

Here's the followup for anyone else having problems.

After Martin looked into my web account, he found that the GD::Graph module was not installed on the web server. After talking to my host, they told me that they do not support the GD::Graph module on their servers.

Thanks for all your help.

Martin, did you try putting GD::Graph in his root directory?  That works sometimes (you may have to add the root to @INC, though:

push(@INC,"$root");

I had tried evreything but it's now working!!!

After an hour or so I decided to throw in the towel and a last effort I uploaded my GD::Graph package, uploaded a fresh copy of Stats.pl and it worked.

I'm stumped as to what was wrong but I suspect a dodgey package in Graph

Again. Thank you so much for your help. I'd probably never have figured this one out.

Is there anything I should do to back this up BTW? (outside of doing a full forum backup) My guess would be to download the GD folder in Ascii mode right?

The big red X is back after I upgraded to 10.1.5

This time however, when I browse to the image URL, i still get the red X instead of the 500 internal server error.

Hmmm ... it shouldn't show the graph stuff if it doesn't want to work.

Martin, how did you fix this?

ok. I got it working.

I changed the code in stats.pl from
Code
print "Content-type: image/gif\n\n";
	binmode STDOUT;
	print $gd->gif;
	exit;

to
Code
print "Content-type: image/png\n\n";
	binmode STDOUT;
	print $gd->png;
	exit;

as stated in the previous graph problem thread and it started working again

Forgot I changed that when I was figuring this out the last time.
