Here you go.  If you don't want the music delete this from template.html

Code
<embed src="/blahdocs/template/xmas/I%2520believe%2520In%2520Father%2520Christmas.wav" LOOP="false""
autostart="true" loop="true" hidden="true">
<noembed> <bgsound src="/blahdocs/template/xmas/I%2520believe%2520In%2520Father%2520Christmas.wav" LOOP="false"> </noembed>

If you just want to change the music to your own, upload ypur file to /blahdocs/template/xmas and change this:

I%2520believe%2520In%2520Father%2520Christmas.wav

to your file name.

thanks for that martin.  btw, for the falling image thingy, i had to change the 'before' code in the mod to reflect what was actually in the pl, then the mod installed and worked great. (i have several mods installed so the file had been changed many times already)

It is certainly not the theme. Given the problems you are having with the slow speed I can only presume it is related to that.

even if i access the forum directly through my intranet i get same thing.  no themes in ff.  i wouldn't think it would have anything to do with the server itself, do you?  it's going to communicate the same information regardless of the browser asking right?

Re-install Firefox. Don't know what version you have but Firefox 2.0 is now available.

I just had a similar problem (NOT with E-Blah) during a server move a few days ago. I could access some of my sites, but found that some would not obey the CSS, as it was being served from a domain that was temporarily unavailable. Common styling was held in one domain, and not copied to the others, so it didn't need to be maintained on multiple sites.

IE and Firefox are known to have differing tolerance levels to subtle coding errors and syntax use, so it may be worthwhile experimenting with the methods of defining the path to the forum/mod CSS (e.g. absolute and relative) to see if this has any effect.
