Hi Justin,

Right now when you click add more smilies all smilies come in a popup.

If you have more than 100 smilies it often takes a lot of time to load especially for dialup users.

Is it possible in your next version you introduce grouping?

So that one can group 50 smilies as one set (set I) and other 50 in other set (set II) and so on, Users can select either set I or set II for the smilies they want.

I think this would be also useful for future considering large forums would like to have more smilies to attract users.

Although it may sound a bit high, but many forum softwares like discusware etc provide it. I have seen medium to large forums which use more than 200 icons some times even animated icons to entertain their users.

It also reduces load on dialup users if there is grouping, So that they need not wait for all 100 icons to load.

So in the Extra Smiles you want to see categories and the smilie page opens after you have selected the appropriate category. Is this right?

I looked at the example sites for discussware and couldn't see a way of adding smilies unless it was an option that was turned off on every board I visited.

Sounds like a good idea to group the smilies. Maybe someone could do a mod? That way its down to the board admin whether or not to group smilies

I sent you PM for an example board. Have a look at it.
