Yeah I figured it out later on, but was to lazy to come back and post a reply.  I like it a lot.  I'm not sure if I like it left justified, but I do like the new online/offline image

I think the left align will grow on you.  If it doesn't after a few days, let me know.  You can change that via CSS now anyway though.

Yeah, I noticed all the css changes.  It makes it a pain for upgrades, but the benifit is so great that it is worth it.  It would be cool if you could set widths with it too

Nah, it has already changed anyway, and there is no way anyone could get to my system with that ip.  Good catch though.

Hmm, well, I like the new online/offline image, but I'm not sure about the fact that the rank and stars are now below the avatar and left justified. I mean, what was wrong with the old design?

The rank and the stars are now just hanging in mid-air and you don't really know what they are meaning when you first see it. In the old design, they were separated from the rest of the user's attributes which made it easier to tell what they are good for.

And the fact that it's different from most other forums is arguable as well. I can see the point of making E-Blah different in look and feel to make it unique, but in my opinion, that shouldn't have a higher priority than user comfort. This change makes it harder for people to get used to using E-Blah.

Just my opinion though, do whatever the majority of the users like, if I don't like it, but everyone else does, I will surely make a mod for my own forums, so that the rest can have what they like.

Actually, the idea of the rank being below the avatar came from another forum system.

Yeah well, there are some, I know that, but normally I'd expect the rank and stars to be somewhere near the user name, ideally below it. But that's just me, maybe I'm just too used to eblah , but I think that the majority of the other forum systems have it like that, too.

I confess that I love the old profile. Sorry *is hopelessly, irretrievably awkward* The little colour bars arrange the information well; it's easy to read and the forum looks tidy. I suppose I mostly like it because I've seen other forums with especially messy looking postbits, and that really bothers me (since a postbit is a large part of how you begin to build your impressions of the person, through their avatar and so on.) But I'm like Opfer; I'm sure I'll survive

The "fancy" profile look is still there.
