Has anyone tried to grab the recent posts and make them show on a page other than the default  /v-search/p-topten/ page using 10.1?

I am thinking about trying to get this info to show in a sidebar on static pages in other areas of the site. Just need to figure where the output is and how its handled, no big deal, right?

Even the latest threads in the smaller box as seen in the view portal page.

So now its time to read up on RSS, this software is awesome, glad it comes with instructions here as well!

Yes, thats the idea but grab the recent posts same as in the portal view.

I would be interested in how you did it, I have a couple of test forums setup and was planning to give it a try.

Will post progress (or lack of) here and maybe with some of the great minds here we can figure it out.

Thanks jimw, I think you just saved me a pile of trial and error, this is the basic idea I was going for, just unsure how to go about it.

Will post results.
