Hi,

I spotted the feature below on another forum, which I think would be to the benefit of eblah. New users quite often email me saying that they cant get into my forum, and its nearly always the same reason; the havent email validated, but they dont know that they've had to do it (not many read the small note of this in the signup process). Attached is what I've seen on this other forum, and what is shown to my users when they do the same. If we could make the reasons for not being able to login full to the new user I think it would benefit most forums run by eblah, as we dont want to lose a member at the first hurdle.

P.S. the bug in my window (member number showing instead of name) might have been fixed in one of the nightlies, mine is a 10.05 install, eagarly awaiting for 1st oct

The number is shown because all of their actual data is flushed from their username so the forum can't use any of it.  

I'll add this to my list and just make an annoying box show up on every page or something.

Not to bug you on this, but if you are going to fix this (and yup, it has bugged me for awhile too), then why don't you make it conditional.  Meaning that you have...

...one error for a disabled account...
...one error for an account awaiting manual admin validation...
...one error for an account awaiting e-mail validation...

That would be so much more clear.
