Hey Justin & team, here are some features I'd like to see someday:

More File Attachment Options:

- ability for more details about the file to be included & customizable with the attachment, such as the bitrate for mp3, the dimensiaons of a .jpg image, the length of a video, etc... ; more supportive of media files.

- the option to turn off the redirect to a new pop-up page for downloading the file

- the option to customize whether or not an uploaded file is required/mandatory to post a message on a certain board [this would REALLY help my site out]

- the option to track which users download which files

- tracking how much bandwidth each user uses and being able to restrict bandwidths for certain users or certain groups [this woudl REALLY help my site out]

- an icon in the message posting area that shows that an attachment has been included in the post when applicable

- the option for uploads to only be allowed in new posts and not replys (such as if a user recorded a piece of music and wants others to comment on it, but not upload songs of their own in reply) [this would REALLY help my site out]

- just more additional attachment options for users

More Posting Options:

- ability to add more fields that are required to post... such as SUBJECT, MESSAGE BODY, RATING, TYPE, etc...  customizable and optional ones of course

That's all for now.  I really enjoy how customizable eBlah is right now.  I know some of this can be added by tweaking code, but its pretty complicated to tell what code is where.  Also, I can't seem to figure out where all of the data is stored on my server... lol.  Where does the posting data store?  It's not SQL databases right?

PS.  Basically my site is a heavily moderated message board community where users can go on and post their own songs & recordings  for each other to download and discuss/rank... stuff such as bitrate showing for mp3 files as well as bandwidth restrictions would really help me!

Messages are in the Messages directory.

It'd be easiest to implement the media info per load (but more stress to the server), and you'll need special modules to do it (GD, MP3 info, etc).  It'd be more work than what it's worth.
