... into a box. Is this possible? What I mean is, I've noticed on darker themes that the little icons and descriptions at the bottom of an individual forum tend to blend into the background colour. What I want to do is put them inside a coloured box, similar to the little "Forum Rules" box alongside it. I'm really bad with HTML and CSS, so I'm not sure how this would be done, if it's possible at all.

Any ideas?

Oh, okay, and I have another question   I successfully took my forum down to 80%, but I have a problem with a few pages. This is on both the members list and the calendar events, that I've seen, at least. It's the weird alignment of the top boxes.

What do you mean with the first post?

The second post ... looks like you removed some colspan information?

*sheepish* Uh, that sounds about right Do you know what I need to put back in to fix it?

And sorry, I just read that over and realised I didn't really explain it very well. If I'm going to pester you, I should at least make sure it makes sense. Right, well for example, on the Themes and Images forum screen, with all the threads listed and so on, at the bottom there are little icons with things like "Hot thread" and "locked thread" next to them. With darker themes, they don't stand out very well, and so I wondered whether I could put them into a little coloured box, similar to the Forum Rules ("You may post new threads, you may not post polls" etc.) box next to it. Does that make any kind of sense?

Ah, yeah.

I'm not sure about the colspan stuff, you'll need to compare the modifed to the original.

As for the other ... I need to redo the entire bottom half of Message Display and Message Index.  I've been meaning to do it, just haven't felt like it.  I want a good design, but nothings came to me yet.

Yeah.  I think those next and previous buttons have been broken for ages now, too ... no ones seemed to notice though, lol.

What theme are you using?

This is a dark theme and all buttons show OK.

This is the best example I can give: The bottom of our Gen section. We're using dull_pink as the theme.

Urgh, I wish I could login. Anyway, I meant to also say; it looks slightly better on the new monitor, but then so does everything in a retina burning high definition kind of way, so I don't think I can really judge it. I had to change the main site layout, since this thing made it turqoise instead of plain old blue. Anyway, um, yes.

Oh, sorry, it's nothing to do with E-Blah. I've been having trouble with getting all my internet settings to work this time round.

And I've sent you a PM, Martin.

Not sure what you mean by "thingies"

I'm presuming it's alignment. You do realise by changing all this core code to get your board small is killing off any chance of upgrading.

I've sorted the thread descriptions at the bottom of the page, now showing white.
