E-Blah Member Posts: 121 Posts Per Day: 0.13 Reputation: 100.00% Reputation Score: +3 / -0 Time Online: 2 days 14 hours 25 minutes	Is it possible for a mod/plugin which will create RSS feed for the Latest 5 Threads ( usually seen in v-portal page) in Eblah 10 This can help to incorporate EBlah in home page or any page the user requires. The feature has a few user variables too. http://www.eblah.com/forum/v-shownews/a-latest/ This will give just the last x amount of modified posts (that YOU have set in Admin/Portal Setup). http://www.eblah.com/forum/v-shownews/a-latest/g-new/ This will give you ONLY the new threads.  You must be logged in for it to be helpful.   http://www.eblah.com/forum/v-shownews/a-latest/max-2/ Replace 2 with a number, such as 40.  I've hard set it to ONLY show 50 max.  So anything above 50 will be replaced with your Portal Setup value. The problem is if the post is too long or it has a big image, it messes up the rss format. Is there anyway I could edit rss code in eblah to display only the threadname and link and avoid from displaying description. Thanks.

E-Blah Member Posts: 121 Posts Per Day: 0.13 Reputation: 100.00% Reputation Score: +3 / -0 Time Online: 2 days 14 hours 25 minutes	Also there is a small bug that I observed In portal.perl where sub RSSLatestThreads , u had the following code for <link> Code   <link>$rurl</link>    where as at the bottom of the same thing u had Code <item>    <title>$title</title>    <link>$surl\lm-$id/</link>    <comments>$surl\lm-$id/#num1</comments>      </item> when u have link= $surl\lm-$id/ in the link it is pointing to a different page giving error. When I corrected it to  link= $rurl\lm-$id/ it behaves fine I think it the same with comments. The version that I am using is sep 09 nightly release version.
