Found a bug in Eblah 10

when a new person registers to the site, we click their name to change their group but instead of seeing their member Center we see our own one.

This only happens for newly registered members!

Yeah, it'd be cool if that could be fixed, signatures are just like a line or two below the actual message and they kinda "hanging in the air". (just look at my sig just below, in my opinion they should be all the way at the bottom)

I'm not sure how to do it with CSS.  I'll have to look, but yeah it should be fixed.  It's always been the way it was on Firefox.  IE is the only browser I know of that actually put the signatures at the bottom.

Works fine here?

Give me a URL to your forum, so I can check this out.

I just ran into that one, too. It works like this: On a fresh forum, the first user (Administrator) gets ID 1, and then the next user that registers, gets user ID 0, and if you open the member center with URL{'u'} being 0, it'll show your own profile.

And for the sig bug, I don't know what it's like on your end, but I'm using IE atm, and I do also have that problem.

With the sig bug, that was with previous versions.

I'll fix the other bug and repost.

I've been trying to find a css fix for two years about the signature thingy hahahaha...

Tried reworking the page html too.  If I find something I'll let you all know.

Signatures look fine on my test board, strange to see the blank space here.

I've looked all over and it doesn't appear that it's technically possible with CSS.    Just one of the weaknesses of CSS.

You can do it with tables, but I don't want to.

Just upgraded from 9.71B to 10.0.5 - Excellent and easy
But when I edit the scrolling news lines there is no way of formatting them I am sure I just used to select and press "Center" or "bold" - or am I remembering wrong?
Also, the first line of the news list comes up twice in the scrolling window.

The twice is a known bug.  Actually, Martin worked on News.js a little, I believe, so he may need to fix that.

I don't think the center and bold have ever been there, however, you can use [b] and [center] and they should work fine.

thanks for the "twice" advice - not an issue - just good to know it's nothing I've screwed up.
You are right about the news editing - I used <b> etc for bold - but the news lines always used to be centred on their own - with no help from me - now they are left-justified (unless I <center> them) - agin, not a big issue - thought it was me going senile!

Thanks,
