i created a root category > board > sub category
doesn't seem as though i can change the order of the sub categories using the up/down arrows in the admin interface. i keep clicking and nothing happens

thoughts?

You might be falling for the same trick that caught me out at first.

I wanted the last subforum to be near the head of listing, but after clicking the Up Arrow a few times, was frustrated to see it still sitting at the bottom of the subforum list

Silly me!

What I had failed to do was move the mouse pointer up a line so that I was clicking on the Up Arrow for the subforum I wanted to move up the list.

Instead of moving it Up on each click, because I hadn't moved the mouse to follow the Arrow, I was clicking on the Up Arrow of the subforum that had just been moved down to replace the one I had just moved up.

I think that makes sense - harder to describe in words than show on screen, but obvious once you realise what you're doing wrong
