You've got to make a hash of some sort (MD5 is what I use). If you do not, you're just as bad as you are without the captcha system. I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20. In fact 2 out of my 3 test sites did not have it. I now have a random and encrypted verification system on my test site at: http://www.opportunitynowhere.co.uk/cgi-bin/forum/Blah.pl? I have incorporated into Post.pl so guests would need to paste the verification code into the input box before a post is accepted. I am now working on a Registration version.
