Hello folks,

eBlah Ver 9.71b
No Mods
Abyss Web Server on WinXP box
AT32 Reverse Proxy forwarding traffic on 'forum' subdomain.
Forum URL - http://forum.codenet.homedns.org
PM for user ID and password for testing

I noticed another thread here which may relate to my problem.

Most of my members can log in at the moment, although a couple (including myself) can't when using IE (and after installing the latest Auto-Update patches from MS).

I can still log in fine with Firefox (which is my preferred browser), but have no idea why I can't with IE. I've added the forum to my 'trusted sites', told it to accept all cookies, and allowed pop-ups, all to no avail.

I have some other PCs which haven't installed the latest IE updates and these are able to log in fine.

I'm sure if there's an issue with IE after this patch then other eBlah users must be having the same problem.

Regards,

Lucas Randall.

More on this:

I don't think it's specifically an eBlah thing because I've just found that I can log on with IE using the problem PC internally on my LAN, so it must be something to do with the reverse proxy forwarding rules, or the HTTP response and IE with the update.

Bugger

If anyone has any ideas or questions to hopefully lead to an idea, please let me know

Lucas.

If your site is forwarded via a domain forwarder, it won't work in IE.

If not, then just clear the cookies in IE.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

Thanks Justin - clearing cookies worked.

Odd that it only effected some IE users and not all.

Oh well, it works!

Thanks again - prompt response as usual!
