Ok, I have now installed this again because I kept getting an error , I had tried to copy the old messages onto the new forum and it then started giving me errors about not finding the message data file and everytime I refreshed the browser I got a duplicate post.

I removed the forum, and did a clean install.

I have 1 board and one sub, I have an admin user and a xantica user. I added and set the member group to funzone and gave xantica this group. I then seet the board to allow access to funzone and admin.

When I log in as xantica there is no boards, what I do wrong this time.

I'm sorry if I am a pain in the posterior here guys, but I do try to sort this all out myself. Maybe I should go back to book reading and leave my pc alone.

You have to give what ever member groups you want access to the main board.  To do this, go to your admin center, Boards and Categories, and then click on the board name (perhaps it is funzone)  You should see a list that shows Member Groups and Non-Member groups.  Select all the groups that you want to see that board.

Then you need to select the boards under that Main board and set the permissions there as well.
