And ... for a screenshot.

Clicking on dates with events will now lead you to this page.

I would like a (little?) feedback ... ?

Looks really good Justin.
I get confused over the permissions tho, personal calendars and events that are visible to everyone, events by group, visible only to that group, etc.. Maybe you could put a post up on it sometime

I downloaded the nightly this morning and uploaded it. The new calendar looks really slick, but a few things may still be broken. When I post an plain event (with or without a time specified, but nothing fancy like a span or reoccurring), the event does not show up in the month view. It only shows in the week or day view. Is this supposed to be?

If I post a span, it appears on the month view, and not only that: it makes the plain events I posted earlier magically appear in the month view now too.

I always select that the event should be visible to All Members, but when I click to modify the event, nothing is highlighted in the visible to box. Since I am admin of my forum, I created a user that was not admin. I logged in with that user, and sure enough, I could not see the events I posted as admin and had selected visible to All Members.

It would be convienent to have modify and delete links on the day views as well as the calendar manager you whippped up.

Yes, the modify and delete buttons will be on the day views as well.

I'll try to look at your other issues and try to fix them all ... some time.

Is there anyone you can provide the option to allow everyone to post entries to the calendar that everyone can see rather than just a calendar group?

Yeah, make the user a calendar editor (via their group).

I fixed the bug, I think.  Please try the new version again.  I've changed a lot of code for the backend that SHOULD (hopefully!!!) make it easier to call events from anywhere within E-Blah (BoardIndex.pl and Portal.pl for main reasons).

Please test again.  I'm going to work a little more on the front end some time.  I'd like to get this out there to the public around the end of May (if that's even possible).

So you would be looking to have an event convertor by the end of May as well?

I have lots of events and would like to be able to switch to the new Calendar setup... but waiting til the events can be converted over to the new layout scheme...

Yes, I plan on writing the converter sometime soon. I hope.

I've just updated the package on the server.  It's ready to be tested.  This time events CAN be upgraded.  Upload Setup.pl and run the upgrade and you'll be all set.

There are two new CSS classes:

Code
/* Calendar */
.calendarevent { /* Title on the Day view */
font-size  : 18px;
font-weight: bold;
}

.currentday { /* These will make the entire day/week kind of faded */
opacity: .85;
filter : alpha(opacity=85);
}

Add those to you CSS template.  I may add more before the final is released.

Note: your OLD Events file WILL NOT be edited, deleted, or renamed.

I've NOT built support for the BoardIndex as of this writing.  It should be done by tomorrow morning.

I've added everything to the language pack now, I believe.  Remember to upload the new language files.

I'm probably going to make a limit for personal calendars that admins can set as well.  I'm calling it a day now though ... been working since about 1:30 or so.

You know, we really need to document the template.css file .  I know this has nothing to do with the calendar recoding, but I have been thinking about this a lot lately .  Martin, you want to get me started on this?
