wondering if this bug is fixed in9.7. It seems that the icon to indicate new posts on a forum will turn blue to indicate a new post, even if no new post has been made on the one year anniversary of a previously viewed post.

example.
i've viewed all threads in a category.
Feb. 14 is over, and the new day Feb. 15 has begun (through the magic of time and the gregorian calendar)
a thread posted on 2/15/05 which I had read, now becomes "new" indicating it is unread

anyone else experiencing this?

That's adjustable via Admin/Settings/Logs. It's so your username.log file doesn't become insanely large. You can change it to 10000 if you want, but if you have 10000 messages you might have a 500KB log file. This means that the user will experience a long load time (although by not *much*, probably).

I have mine set to 9999, and it is only at 351 bytes right now. Of course the board is not that big
