I'm hosting an eblah forum for someone else on mydomain.com.  The customer bought a new domain and is using domain forwarding with masking.  When you type in customer.com, you are redirected to mydomain.com (but the address bar always shows customer.com).  It works well, except that when my mouse hovers over a link embedded in the eblah forums, it shows mydomain.com on the status bar.  Anyone have a suggestion how to stop that?

Nevermind.  I think I just need to add a base url in my theme.  Unfortunately my domain forwarding is flaky at best.

Meh... GoDaddy doesn't do domain forwarding... They're a sham.  They fake domain forwarding, by creating a frames page to hide your old domain name.  That's why Eblah doesn't work with domain forwarding.

You should never use domain forwarding.

I do installs for $25 and upgrades for $20.

Hrm.  I was offering some webspace to a friend.  I gave him a subdomain, but he wanted his own domain name.  Is the only way to buy his own hosting?

It depends on your server.  I have a reseller account here, so I can add more domains (as I have done).  It just depends on what options you have.

My server is Canaca, but I'm dropping them tonight.  I'm always getting this message during FTP uploads.  "Transfer aborted. No space left on device."  I'm using about 90MB of my 10,000MB storage.  Meh....

The actual hard drive is out of space, lol.  Sites that claim 10GB's of space for 100 people or more per server don't expect many to go over a few megs ...

I understand that, but a decent provider would have some empty drive space just in case.... Maybe I expect too much from penny hosts.
