a lot of times people will sign up and not get the validation email and they will email me asking why they didnt get it. i realize some people's email clients treat mail from the forum as spam and they may never get it, but they may get it at another email address. is there a way, during the validation process, for the user to change just the email address on their profile and get validation email resent to the second email address they use?

i want members with goodstanding email addresses so they can get forum notices. if they dont get the validation email chances are they wont get forum notices if i manually approve them

also one last thing is there a way i can disable a part of the forums and make avaliable only to users with say, 50 posts? thanks for the help merry christmas!

No, but you can have other member groups that users can join that does this.

The ads are a new feature in P9.6.  You'll have to edit it via Forum Settings in Admin Center.

i try the member groups thing and when i enter in a post number it turns it into a post group and disables all options
