Hey, wanna have some fun this CHRISTMAS? Send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS CARD! As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice, CHRISTIAN, card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world.
Here's the Address, just don't be rude or crude. (It's Not the Christian Way ya know?)
ACLU "Wishing You Merry Christmas" 125 Broad Street 18th Floor New York, NY 10004
Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions..
So spend 37 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone. NOW, go get your envelope and do it before you forward this to EVERYONE is your address book. . . .do it BEFORE the postal rates go up in Jan. and save yourself 2 cents.
Mine will be in the mail in the morning! |

The ACLU is the most liberal organization in America. They were founded soley upon taking God out of every thing in America. If you've ever heard of "the wall between seperation of church and state", they're one of the ones who twisted that around to mean what it means today. The first was the cheif justice of the surpreme court of the time. The phrase actually comes from our thrid president, whom said in a reply to a Baptist church that were afraid other Christian denominations would be exclusive to government like the way it was in Europe of the time (the Catholic church, which heavily influenced everything within the government of the day). Jefferson said there was a wall between seperation of church and state that was built to protect against one denomination, or sect, becoming exclusive within government. The phrase was used countless times since the 1940's, when it was used by this Chief Justice, but it was used against people trying to throw church out of state, as the ACLU has done. Recently the tide has started to turn with a lot of Americans finally standing up, and a lot of the ACLU cases being lost. Most of them are doing so by the other part of the 1st Amendment, which gives Americans free speach. So the ACLU who is voicing 'civil liberties' is now being used by their own game, and being exposed for what they're ultimatily trying to obtain -- censorship. Just a little history lesson. |

So these was the people that like to push God out of everything? Then complain "Where was God?" in cases like Sept 11. Well now, now I know too, thanks. If I were in the USA, they wouldve received one christmas card from each of my family, even from little Karien. |

"1st Amendment, which gives Americans free speach" - From this VERY thread! (Its 'speech', but you get the point).
Nothing wrong with debate, otherwise we live in a dictatorship. Is this site a dictatorship? |

I'm not going to debate with you. Either stop or be banned. |

Ok, I will put down my WMD....weapons of mass debate. Mass debating can not and should not be banned, that's all I'm gonna say on the matter.
Faithfully,

The ACLU is the most liberal organization in America. They were founded soley upon taking God out of every thing in America.
If you're going to ban any sort of "debate"... it helps to get the facts straight so nobody is inadvertently seen as "debating" when trying to establish facts. In regards to the ACLU original founding, I'm assuming you're referring to the Scopes Trial in 1925 regarding anti-evolution laws in Tennessee. The ACLU was involved in that. However, the ACLU actually was started in 1917 as the "National Civil Liberties Bureau (NCLB)" an outgrowth of "American Union Against Militarism, an organization that was against American intervention in World War I. The NCLB provided legal advice and aid for conscientious objectors and those being prosecuted under the Espionage Act of 1917 or Sedition Act of 1918." If you want to read more of its history, a good place to start is here: American Civil Liberities Union - WikipediaI'm mentioning this, not because I'm a fan of ACLU's postions (far from it), but just because I believe in accuracy. |
