This is a mod allowing you to give each Member Group (even Moderators) a unique Background-Color, Text-Color, and Background Image. The idea for this mod came from fiik.

This can be used to give member groups more authority and/or the ability to recognise them as an admin/mod immediately or simply to give your forum a unique look.

Install guide

1. Upload all files and folders using the directory structure of the zip-file.
2. Go to the Modification Center in the Admin CP and click "Install" at the mod called "Group_colors".

(Don't worry about the overwritten language files, they just add entries into the gaps)

Users manual

1. Where do I change the Background?

Go to your Admin CP, click on "Change Member Groups" then you can edit an existing member group.

2. New/Edit Member Group

Color of message-index:
This is the background color of the cell that displays Member information on the left of each post of the member. (For example see sample screenshots further below)

Image:
Here you can give the URL of any Image on the web. If you want a relative path to a file on your server it should look like: "/blahdocs/images/background.gif". This will appear in the same cell as "Color of message-index" and it will override the color.

Color/Text-Color:
Text color of the cell mentioned in "Color of message-index".

Leaving one of more fields blank will set them to the values defined by the theme.

The first file is for forums with only the english langpack installed and the second one is for forums with both the english and the german langpack installed.
